Once Elected, Palin Hired Friends and Lashed Foes

Here’s an article published today by the New York Times that cannot be missed. Here are some highlights:

Throughout her political career, she has pursued vendettas, fired officials who crossed her and sometimes blurred the line between government and personal grievance, according to a review of public records and interviews with 60 Republican and Democratic legislators and local officials. Still, Ms. Palin has many supporters.

-Interviews show that Ms. Palin runs an administration that puts a premium on loyalty and secrecy. The governor and her top officials sometimes use personal e-mail accounts for state business; dozens of e-mail messages obtained by The New York Times show that her staff members studied whether that could allow them to circumvent subpoenas seeking public records.

But careers were turned upside down. The mayor quickly fired the town’s museum director, John Cooper. Later, she sent an aide to the museum to talk to the three remaining employees. “He told us they only wanted two,” recalled Esther West, one of the three, “and we had to pick who was going to be laid off.” The three quit as one.

And she began to eye the library. For years, social conservatives had pressed the library director to remove books they considered immoral. “People would bring books back censored,” recalled former Mayor John Stein, Ms. Palin’s predecessor. “Pages would get marked up or torn out.” Witnesses and contemporary news accounts say Ms. Palin asked the librarian about removing books from the shelves. The McCain-Palin presidential campaign says Ms. Palin never advocated censorship.

In re: to this article. I feel that there are a lot of “grey” areas within this article, but it indeed raises suspicion about Mrs. Palin’s ability to MANAGE. It is important that people realize that being Vice President means you must be a “HIGHLY Effective” Manager/Leader. Being a Leader comes w/ experience and “certain” leadership qualities. Sadly, it appears that Mrs. Palin fails at scoring average to high on the Emotional Intelligence (EQ) scale. Indeed she reacts on emotions, but the “wrong” emotions.

    1. A Manager/Leader DOES NOT mix personal life w/ business.
    2. A. Manager/Leader usually coaches and counsels their subordinates, before FIRING THEM!
    3. A Manager/Leader needs to concentrate on the “Whole” not the “Select” (providing the best solution for majority of stakeholders).
    4. A Manager/Leaders remember to give special attention to the LONG TERM not the just the Short Term.

…. And the list goes on… Unfortunately. It seems as if Mrs. Palin failed Management 101. Her mentality and tactics will not work in the “GLOBAL ARENA”. World leaders don’t have time to waste dealing with such novice leaders. Maybe she things her skills will work well when dealing with Foreign Diplomacy…. experience will show her!!x

I fully agree with your point above, but let me also state that I’ve never hated someone without knowing them as I do this woman. She is patently psychotic, a liar, arrogant, vindictive and manipulative. She knows nothing of world issues or economics and should stick to being a rowdy hockey-mom.

However, I am also VERY afraid (as an individual living in the Muslim-dominated Middle-East) of AmeriKKKa electing McDouche and his sidekick, Sarah “Bush in Drag” Palin because this will most definitely lead to a “My God can kick ur God’s ass” war as we are already starting to see (I refer to her “the Iraq war was given to us as a task from God” speech).

McDouche is most likely going to get a heart attack during his term (if elected) and can you imagine Palin as President?? The thought of that makes me want to throw up. I can picture her propaganda posters already…Jesus with a machine gun.
